We’re thrilled to announce that Marc Lock from MRG Property Consultants will be the guest speaker at our monthly meeting on 11 July. Marc will share his journey in property development, offering valuable insights and inspiration.
Currently, Marc is developing a 33-unit project in Stokes Valley. Marc also owns DFR Wellington which specialises in civil work for developments, focusing on small to medium-sized subdivisional works in the greater Wellington area. Marc’s extensive experience spans planning, financing, and managing various property projects, from trading houses to multi-unit developments.
Joining Marc are James Solari of Solari Architecture, and Duncan Watts of The Watts Company.
James’ team completed the design of Raukawa Heights from Resource Consent stage right through to delivery. They are also working on numerus other projects with Marc. James is a board member on the Urban Development Institute of Nz.
Duncan worked on Raukawa in his valuation capacity while the Director or Valuations and Advisory at CBRE. He has since left CRBE and started the Watts Company where he is heavily involved with Marc’s future projects also.

The meeting usually ends around 9:00pm with some more networking and doors close at 9:30pm.
This meeting is free for Wellington PIA members and non-members can attend for $30.
