James Elliott – CEO of KITT Technologies and KITT Property Management
James is a property investor and former committee member of Capital PIA. He’s also an angel investor, investing in early stage technology startups. Originally starting with KITT in 2017 as an investor and advisor on the needs of property investors, he became CEO in late 2020.
KITT are reinventing property management through the use of technology and scalable customer service. They provide full-service property management in 16 territories across NZ, including Wellington, Porirua, Hutt Valley, Kapiti, Christchurch, Auckland, Hamilton, Dunedin, Nelson, Palmerston North, Tauranga and Timaru.

The challenges of addressing the problems of a legacy industry are fascinating. Setting out to build the fastest growing PM company, with global aspirations, is definitely not your normal business experience.
But the issues we are dealing with at scale, are the same issues that every property investor has to address; and the systems and design thinking which we use to create systems to manage thousands of properties, can help the individual investor reach their goals safely.

Michael has been in the industry since 2001. He’s had his own business, was previously on Towers Asset Allocation Committee and is currently on Lifetime’s Investment Committee.

Micheal will be speaking on the current investment markets, inflation & interest rates, and how investors can benefit from financial planning.

This meeting is free for Wellington PIA members and non-members can attend for $30.
