Nick Goodall, Head of Research at CoreLogic NZ, will take us through the property market in the Wellington region (including Upper Hutt, Lower Hutt and Porirua) using the latest from CoreLogic’s latest Buyer Classification data.
As the Head of Research for CoreLogic New Zealand, Nick’s focus is on keeping on top of everything that happens in the New Zealand property market. This necessitates him continually investigating new and different ways of looking at the market, to best assist clients and consumers in their decision making.
Nick is a self-confessed numbers geek but has a knack for passionately telling a story based on the facts and figures to inform a wide range of audiences. He regularly presents to government organisations such as the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, as well as banks, real estate agencies and consumer groups. Drawing on macro-economic data as well as CoreLogic’s unique datasets, Nick looks beyond what you hear in the media to provide the whole picture with what’s going on in the property market and where it’s likely heading.
Nick joined CoreLogic 7 years ago, starting out in the Data team before joining the Research team in 2014. Prior to joining CoreLogic, Nick worked as an analyst, mainly in the banking and telecommunications industries. Nick holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Marketing from University of Otago.
